Glenn Beck says "America's answer is God!"...

The Catholic God...the Evangelical God, the God of Islam, of Mormonism, of Judaism, Hinduism.....or just Beck's chosen God?

Since there are 10,000 religions that disagree about God......what the hell is Beck talking about? Why can't he see that God is not the answer, but the crutch for every man made religion.

America's answer is to promote freedom and liberal democracy without any interference of gods! Our forefathers kept references to gods as generic and undefined. Beck is promoting the Christian faith.....there is a big differnce! And freedom of religion has found no path to the one true absolute God....if one exists!

Warren Buffet Bill Gates, Charles Krauthammer, are agnostics........Ted Haggard, Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swaggert, Jim Baker, Franklin Graham are true believers......... It is an any choice for me to stand with the Agnostics when it comes to character and compassion for mankind.

Overbearing Chrisitanity and Islam is a no win deal.....freedom from religion is essential.

The Evangelical Right is as tiresome as the Marxist Left when it comes to reason!

Yeah, right, and as if God is going to save the world, save the people, pay the rent and bills. Get real Glenn Beck, stop whining like the "B" you are, and stop shoveling all this God bs into the people's faces.

The people do not need some intangible god to believe in and a bunch of false hopes. They need start knowing the difference between right and wrong and that's about all there is to having a civil society and equal rights.

    How's that?

For starters......Believing in perfect heavens governed by supernatural gods is just as unreasonable as believing in Utopian societies managed by benevolent dictator gods of government!

Well than good thing there isn't a Marxist Left attempting that here in the USA.

I wonder if God is going to make Glenn Beck go blind or save his sight. About a month ago he was whining about losing his sight in abpout a year. Nice god you got there old Glenn boy, keep praying, and don't rely on doctors, and lets see if your sight is saved, or is this just another one of you bs stories to try and get sympathy and publicity.

I'd rather listen to Simon Says, than to listen to what Glenn Beck says.

Aw, offended on behalf of a comic book character. That's Cute!! Do you defend Batman, too?

My Pet Rock shouldn't be up for discussion...

The difference between a My Pet Rock and your God is, My Pet Rock is tangible and brought many kids happiness, which is something I cannot say about your intangible God that brings nothing but hate and ugliness into people's lives and communities. People need to stop using GOD and Religion as a weapon to attack others.

Is Beck's master plan to turn a Democratic Republic into a theocracy? Or does he believe that God is a micro-managing puppet master, as well as a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, NY Yankees, and tea party revolutionaries?

Well Try, we finally agree on something.

Religion and spirituality is a very personal matter and should return to that status from our politicains.

If God is there, and the jury is out on that question, He isn't going to come down here like a deux ex machina and suddently re-arrange things. The Bible is humanity's way of putting an idea that it can't truly comprehend into a box and making it suit their own ends. This whole thought train arguing that religion is the answer is ridiculous, because truthfully, what does religion actually solve except for making people either a) feel better about themselves or b) extraordinarily guilty over being human, or perhaps both.

I do not hate God; I simply have no knowledge wherefore there is or isn't a God, and neither does anyone else, despite their claims and despite their religiosity. How can anyone put a human face on what no one truly knows? And like I said, the Bible is simply another religious book; every religion has one, and every religion claims that theirs is the right one, and so since people can't agree on who or what God is, then how do you know that yours is correct? Besides, for God to have created the Earth, everything on Earth, all of the rest of the planets, the universe, absolutely everything down to the last little piece of space dust, God would have to be way outside of what anybody thinks He (or She, but most likely either sexless or all sexes into one), is. Humanity merely tries to define God by mortal means, and the result is rainbow-hued.

Glenn Beck says "America's answer is God!"

The question posed to America was-- "Who is your favorite fictional character?"

      Mr. Beck,

Did your mother and brother believe in God? According to what Wikipedia says about them, I think not.

You come from the most dysfunctional family I've ever read about and you sir, top the list of nut cases. Then again, you work for Fox, they have "lots" of ratings and you're worth 32 million as you keep saying.

So, even though you claim you worship God, I really think all you worship is cold cash and being "blessed" with the fact that in this twisted society we now live in, a meaningless and dangerous network like Fox is allowed to exist for you to spew your phony trash every day.

Yeah I know, but when people try and use religion in politics i always see it as trying to stack the deck in their favor for the debate and then the debate is fruitless.

really, Glenn? I thought this was One Nation Under God. Where has he been? How did we lose him? Was he ever here? Why did he let evil Muslims attack us on 9/11?

I think God has forsaken America, IF he is even real.

Gods are very convenient when things go one's way. Allah was very sucessful with his attack on 911, while the Christian God let down his followers. The War of the Gods!

It is sad than humans can't let go of the supernatural gods and reasonably work on solving problems caused by violent and power hungry thugs who love to enslave people through religion or big government.
