Even poll in Ohio has voters wishing he was back in office

The theory of relativity......Bush not so bad....Obama not so good!
It is a complex world with no easy answers or perfect heroes.

Obama's halo is fading and America is waking up!

Catch22

This opinion piece does not provide the methodology or the poll.

Meanwhile, while the recession is still hurting America hard, the economic indicators are far stronger than when Obama took office.

A lot of rightwingers should look back at Reagan's poll numbers at the same stage in his Presidency - you might be surprised to find that Reagans fell harder and faster. What do you think about those who leapt to say that Reagan's halo was coming off (his popularity soared after the assasination attempt) and America waking up then?

Denial will not change the truth that BO is a failure! It is the independents, not the right wingers, that will turn America around!

Perhaps you should try using logic?

Heated emotional overblown rhetoric doesnt go very far.

I suggest you heed your advice..."Heated emotional overblown rhetoric doesnt go very far."

Perhaps you should try using logic?

What exactly do you imagine to be heated and overblown in the words you quote?

Reagan's poll numbers from the same period of his presidency ARE very close to Obamas for a similar time period. It is very logical to ask why you conclude the opposite from Obama than you do for Reagan.

Both faced difficult economic climates. Their poll numbers were closer than any other Presidents in history.

Reagan was trying to save the nation from the studpidity and arrogance of Jimmy Carter. Obama is using Jimmy Carter's wisdom and strategy and we don't know yet who it will take to save us from Obama's failed policies. Reagan was successful because he was headed in a different direction than Carter and Obama. What about that fact do you not understand!

It is about the path......and socialism is a failed path....read history!

You confuse talking points with logic. Is that why FDR was so successful too? How about Clinton? Again you forget that that the economy was flounderwing well into more than 2 years into Reagans term. You also conveniently ignore that the economic indicators in 2008 were among the worst in history. You ignore everything that doesnt suit your ideology and gloss over and decleare ideological superiority.

It is about the path......and socialism is a failed path....read history!

There is no such straight path except in your imagination. The nation flourished under FDR.

Try logic and read history. The Obama administration is not and has never been socialist.

Perhaps you should go back and study what happened after the policies of the 1920s and the Hoover Administration, which did exactly what you claim they should. Or further back and the failure of the Articles of Confederation. Perhaps the failed policies of the Bush administration?
