It seems that knowing more about religion can lead to enlightenment.....that is why churches and religious leaders want you to stay close to the fire and brimstone! Gods love fear! And it helps the donation collections!

    PowerIsKnowledge

Those who scored the highest were atheists and agnostics, as well as two religious minorities: Jews and Mormons. The results were the same even after the researchers controlled for factors like age and racial differences.

Atheists and agnostics scored an average of 65%, while white Evangelical Protestants scored an average of 55%. The lowest scoring group, Hispanic Catholics, had an average score of 36%.

    Funny.

Damn, somebody beat me to it.

Yes, every study like this that has come out for decades shows we atheists and agnostics are always more knowledgeable about religion than true believers are.

That's because we actually READ and STUDY these belief systems and don't just sit there and absorb stuff and nonsense like a bunch of mushrooms in a cave.
