Sam Harris says...."Ten days until the Rapture -- finally a religious claim that is falsifiable. I like these people!

I wonder how many "end of the earths" have been predicted since man created religion?

It is rare to find a non-believer that says they can prove God does not exist!

The burden of proof of a God is on the Believer.......

Can you provide a link to even one atheist who says they can prove a negative? Otherwise, this was just an argumentative thing to assert with no supporting evidence whatsoever, which doesn't really say much about your debating skills.

This is Sam Harris's second bite at the apple, he predicted the rapture would come before. If I remember correctly that was in 1994. So I think he will have a serious credibility problem if the world does not come to an end this time.

If this statement is correct ...you must have missed something here?

Sorry, Harold Camping is the one taking the second bite at the apple. He predicted the end of the world would come in 1994. He is party to the current 5/21/11 prediction.

I must have been distracted when I wrote my previous comment.

Jesus Christ already said, no one would know the day or the hour. So who ever is predicting 21 May is a false prophet.

Quoting the sayings and dogma of a God created by the writings of men has no validity...try something new.

Quoting a supernatural God is quoting a false god....unless you can prove Its existence..

Given enough time and the law of averages one of these guys will eventually get it right. Untill then, I'll continue to ignore their dumb endof the world predictions and laugh when they're proven wrong...again. Oh, and I'll ignore their calls for more funding. What the hell do you need funding for if you think the world is going to end anyways? Wouldn't money become a thing of the past?
